Oh, I didn't mean to keep them in the recorded patches.
I meant to leave them in the working tree (but maybe that
was what you meant too, in your original idea).

But with my other suggestion it wouldn't matter since the
user could choose Y or N to record the break line in the
normal record dialogue, depending on if the break line is a
normal code construct or a special marker line.
