Hi all,
I'm about to accept a patch by Simon Marlow which adds hard-linking
support over NTFS in Windows. Unfortunately, this rules out the use
of darcs on Windows9x.
Note that Juliusz has already accepted a different patch which breaks
Windows9x in different ways; however, the breakage then was relatively
minor then, whereas it is more substantial now.

Since nobody complained, I'm assuming practically nobody uses darcs on
Windows9x or below. Please shout and/or submit patches if you want
darcs to work on these platforms (it's not inconceivable that this be
fixed with some modifications to the configure script and/or ifdefs).
Thanks,
