To anyone that is considering this but hasn't spoken up yet: This is
the sort of thing which can look good on a resume. It is volunteer
work, it shows you're not afraid to take on non-glamorous tasks to
help a community that interests you and it also helps build a
reputation and prove that you have practical experience with python.
I would say this is a great opportunity for someone that would like to
get his/her name out there with a relatively small time commitment.
