well, that was me. I was talking about a pdf file of 3 pages that was in 
the repository. We needed to update it, so we replace it in the 
repository. Then, darcs was taking ages to generate the patch, so, I 
couldn't resist to press Ctrl-C.... The solution was to delete the file 
and record that. Then, add the new copy and record that as well. After 
that, applying the two patches worked fine.

the comment of the logo belongs to my friend, who joined the darcs side 
of the source a couple of weeks ago.
