Ideally (so by the 15th of December at the time of this writing).  That
or we accept to squeeze this in between one of pre-releases, which
sounds like potentially a bad idea.

If this is not possible, we will just have to release darcs 2.2 without
fixing the problem, and postpone zlib support till July.
