Today I sent a 20-patch bundle that was buggy; the resend omitted the
last patch, which caused most of the problems.  Here is a rewrite that
is ugly and less invasive, but actually works.  It shrinks the
makefile by 74 lines!

  * Generate DARCS_FILES by blacklist, not whitelist.
  This attempt is far from perfect, but at least it works.
