Hi Jules,

It looks like you're in luck.  If I understand correctly, the problem
Thorkil ran into were due to GHC 6.6.

Moreover, I believe what MacPorts calls hs-cabal is what Haskellers
call 'cabal-install'.

If you port install hs-cabal

You should be able to follow up with
 cabal update
 cabal install --global maybench
