I lost my long comment there somehow. It said roughly: "it's hard to 
describe these precisely but here's an example: I started to 
amend-record --edit-long-comment, changed my mind, quit the editor, got 
warned about unrevert, answered n to cancel, and was told I had narrowly 
avoided "catastrophe".
