Just to be clear in case anyof us are concerned that this is going to be
an issue: I think you can count on support for the different darcs
semantics pretty much indefinitely.  That's the default assumption
anyway.  I don't foresee ever withdrawing darcs-1 or in the future
darcs-2 support.
