What are these getLog messages?

    $ darcs --version
    2.3.1 (+ 416 patches)

    $ find [^_]*/ -depth -type d -exec \
      darcs record --no-test -am "Whitespace cleanup in {}." {} \;

>From the following, I see it's a list of Unicode codepoints from -m.
Can this noisy output be removed from normal (non-debugging) builds?

    $ darcs changes --last 100 --match 'hunk Patch.name.as.received'

      * Make record store patch metadata in UTF-8
