Ah, thanks, I had forgotten that datum since the discussion thread
happened so long ago.

I guess it's only visible if a user cats _darcs/prefs/prefs, which
normally wouldn't happen since they only edit _darcs/prefs/defaults
directly, and .../prefs via "darcs setpref".
