(I've applied the patch in the meantime)

For the interested:

$ cabal configure -f-curl
# if you have HTTP on your system, this assumes you want -fHTTP

$ cabal configure -f-curl -f-HTTP
Resolving dependencies...
Configuring darcs-2.2.0...
$ cabal build
setup: Package darcs-2.2.0 can't be built on this system.
