This isn't the right long-term fix, because ImpredicativeTypes are being
deprecated and then removed until the GHC team can find a nice implementation
they're happy with.

However as actually removing the requirement for them is on hold for now (see
patch40), I propose to accept this as a short-term build fix for 6.12.
