Hi Jason,

The real problem I have is that I feel lost looking at
darcs changes -v.

Using gitk or such does help me very often getting an idea about what
happened much faster.

darcs has no gui tools yet.

So I'll try creating an executable being based on the darcs library.

If that works I'll upload it to hackage and we're done.


About base update:
Of course they are orthogonal. That's why I recorded two patches.
Anyway do you think this patch is useful?
I'm not quite sure because scion doesn't support CPP yet AFAIK.
