Eep! Sorry about that, folks.

This is related to changeover in our infrastructure, [1,2].  Now,
this is going be finite: it's only some older patches that still
had darcs-users in their nosy list that seem to be affected.  I'm
going to look into mass-unsubscribing darcs-users from these old
tickets right now.
