Thanks. That sounds like it should be filed as a bug report, but it's
not clear if it's in KDE or in Evolution. Evo is a GTK-based app so
maybe it's a GTK-KDE interaction of some kind. However I use GTK apps
such as Firefox or Chrome under KDE and they don't have this issue.

Maybe Milan could chip in here.
