Hi,

window issues with KDE are known when running apps such as Ardour or
Gimp. The culprit is KDE, see

. They might have changed something to workaround the issue that "child"
windows are hidden by "parent" windows and might suffer from a short
blanket syndrome, since workarounds aren't fixes.

OTOH I'm surprised that KWin is listed by
