Hi Simon, 
You've got 3 options to try to fix this: 
1. Upgrade to testing, it's version is 3.46.4-1 (also gives a newer
version of Gnome-key ring) 
2. Enable Backports and see if the version there fixes this
3. Install Flatpack and install the Flatpack version (3.47?) 
The version you have gave me grief when trying to use gmail (uses the
same  ports and requires a password, it's just secure IMAP after all)
and upgrading fixed it.
