[Evolution-users] Using Evolution to post(!) to a newsgroup

Hi!

So I tried the process again yesterday. Evolution 3.36.5-0ubuntu1 on
Linux Mint Mate 20 "Ulyssa", if that matters.

Neither with File/New, nor with CTRL-R or the context menu on an usenet
post I was able to open the composer in the "Post To" mode. Both
subscribed groups (alt.de.test and de.test) were displayed and the list
of posts successfully retrieved, so logging on to the server obviously
wasn't the problem.

I feel a bit like an idiot now, probably missing some important step
that wasn't obvious from the Edit/Accounts/Mail Accounts/Add/Mail
Account dialog where I added an account for server type "USENET news" as
one would expect.

Can you help me again with some insights please?

I have uploaded a couple screenshots for illustration to
https://bartheld.net/temp/evolution.zip. They are cropped to their
minimum sizes but nevertheless ended up too large for posting here. I
apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks again & greets,
Volker
