[Evolution-users] Evolution suddenly back to zero

When I started Evolution today, it behaved as if it was running for the
first time.
It displayed the initial setup wizard and no mail accounts.
It worked fine yesterday, and I still see over 1GB of data in
~/.var/app/org,gnome.Evolution/data and over 4GB of data in in
~/.var/app/org,gnome.Evolution/cache.
Why doesn't Evolution see this anymore?
I am running Evolution flatpack 3.56.0 under Ubuntu Studio 24.04 .1 LTS
