[Evolution-users] Evolution suddenly back to zero

Thanks for the tips, but the terminal command produced the expected results:

   flatpak kill org.gnome.Evolution
yielded
  error: org.gnome.Evolution is not running

   flatpak run org.gnome.Evolution
produced a long list of error messages which are attached.

I don't have any other version of Flatpak installed.
Is there any way to restore whatever Evolution needs to find my previous profile?

Thanks for your support!

	Hi,
could you verify it really runs the Flatpak version, please? The easiest is to run from a terminal, as a regular user:

   flatpak kill org.gnome.Evolution
   flatpak run org.gnome.Evolution

It can sometimes happen that the evolution-source-registry process fails to start, then Evolution doesn't see any configured account. The above may show some warnings on the terminal, I suppose.

Evolution used to yell when it could not reach the source registry over D-Bus, but that changed with some update on the glib side (I think). I made it yell again recently, because the "vanish" of the account data has some side effects, like the folder settings are removed, because the Evolution sees there are no corresponding folders "anymore".

	Bye,
	Milan
