Hi Milan!

I am not using any sending/relaying SMTP server that I know of. I only
have my Microsoft 365 account configured. I am assuming, it's using
HTTPS to send? I don't see any preferences section for me to fiddle
with my outbound e-mail (or in-bound either for that matter). It's all
Milan's Microsoft 365 Magic... ;-)

Yep, came across that, but I thought it was for clients/end-users of
Microsoft Exchange Online/Office365/Microsoft365 when they didn't get
e-mail and performed a Exchange Online trace. So this would be for
clients delivering e-mail to Exchange Online/Office365/Microsoft365
mailboxes wouldn't it?

The NDR I got wasn't from Microsoft's servers, it was from (what I can
gather) the recipient's e-mail server. It looks like they are
outsourcing e-mail.

This is the first time I have gotten a NDR like this w/Evolution, but I
have been changing Evolution versions (as you know) a lot lately.

It's only happened this one time, but I generally don't keep/retain the
"rich" formatting folks send me. I convert it to plain text then edit
the reply or forward.

This time, I opened an HTML e-mail. I had to download images because I
turn off automatic downloading of images in HTML e-mail. I then hit
Forward. I selected "My setting for Forwards is that they are added as
attachments to new blank messages. But the Subject line has something
like "Fwd: <original subject>".

In the empty message body (with an attachment at the bottom), I did add
a message to recipient.

I don't have the Forwards are in-lined option on, I am using Forwards
are attachments to new e-mails (while keeping the original message
window open). I think it's named "Forward style:" in the Composer
Preferences.

I was able to get my "Forward" to my recipient by doing "Reply to
Sender" and editing the To field (and choosing Don't loose formatting).

Best,

/allen
