[Evolution-users] Can't delete mail account

	Hi,
that's it, the account was configured elsewhere, in this case in the
gnome-online-accounts. If you are running GNOME (which you probably do
not), then run Settings (gnome-control-center) and there are Online
Accounts, where you can manage them.

As I guess you do not run GNOME and the gnome-control-center requires
the system to be GNOME, you can workaround it with:

   XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=GNOME gnome-control-center

It can be the reason why "nothing happens" when you click on the "Open
Online Accounts" button, the gnome-control-center claims on the
terminal that it cannot run because it's not GNOME and quits
immediately.

If neither of that works, edit ~/.config/goa-1.0/accounts.conf file and
remove the account from there and then restart the machine.
