[Evolution-users] Use shared Evolution config/data files on a dual boot setup

Hi Folks,

I have read
https://gnome.pages.gitlab.gnome.org/evolution/help/data-storage.html
https://gnome.pages.gitlab.gnome.org/evolution/help/sync-with-other-devices.html
https://gnome.pages.gitlab.gnome.org/evolution/help/backup-restore.html
https://discourse.gnome.org/t/how-to-sync-evolution/20571

I have set up my machine as a dualboot Fedora/Solus.
Assuming they both use the same Evolution version, is it feasible to
make them share the same config/data folders eliminating the need to
sync anything.
I have done so for other programs like audacious, rednotebook, gnote
etc that I have moved their folders(in some cases even cache folders)
to a shared encrypted data partition that gets mounted on boot, and
then created symlinks to those folders on both systems. This works
pretty well. Now I wonder if I could do the same with such a complex
program like Evolution.

I am using Evolution 3.56.2

The first link above states that starting with Evolution 3.6, folders
are
The user's data files
$HOME/.local/share/evolution

Various configuration and state files
$HOME/.config/evolution

Account settings
$HOME/.config/evolution/sources

Disposable data caches
$HOME/.cache/evolution

So could I just move those to a shared data partition, create symlinks
and use the same files thus for Fedora and Solus?
Would this somehow work?

What about dconf settings?
What about the passwords in the keyrings?

Searching for files/directories containing "evolution"
I also found:
/home/sebi/.cache/org.gnome.Evolution
/home/sebi/.local/share/org.gnome.Evolution

What about those directories?
