	Hi,
this should be reported to the gpg, or even better to the pinentry
folks, not here. The pinentry is just another dependency of the gpg,
while evolution (or libcamel from the evolution-data-server) depends on
the gpg only.

I do not know what their text "gnome3:curses" means, if it's one or the
other, then it probably could not connect the display or something and
fallbacked to the curses version, which requires a terminal, which is
not available when Evolution calls the gpg binary.

Maybe the pinentry-gnome3 really means GNOME 3, thus expecting
gnome-shell to be running, and when it does not run it cannot ask and
moves on to the next pinentry provider. It might not matter whether the
twm runs X11 or Wayland, I guess, but I do not know that.
