	Hi,
this is a correct place :)

See Edit->Preferences->Mail Preferences->General tab->Message Display
section->(near the bottom) Apply the same view settings to all folders.
You probably have it checked, thus uncheck it, then you'll be able to
use View->Current View->... menu options for each folder separately.

The Sent folder, if recognized, thus when having a special icon, uses a
view for the sent folders even with that option checked. Maybe you
accidentally changed the view in the Sent folder and it's used now?
