[Evolution-users] evolution crashes when attechments are opened

I run evolution under kde

kde Plasma-Version: 5.27.11
kde Frameworks-Version: 5.115.0
Qt Version: 5.15.12

Evolution version is 3.50.3 (the info also says Groupware Suite)
It is a native Suse Package, instaled with Yast.

I took evolution after kmail made problems, sometoimes simply refused
to open mail files.

The default applications are Firefox for html and octave for pdf, and
there is no problem useing them. Even in the first time after I
installed evolution, there was no problem. And now there is no other
scenario where I experience problems.

So the problem has to do with evolution (or the gnome-kde interface?).
Not with octaved or firefox.

I tried open evoulution in a command line window. At start I got a
message:

did not unregister from D-Bus before destruction. Consider using
g_application_run().

But g_application_run() did not help. bash seems to expect something
more, but any addition (I tried evolution, help, within the () and at
the end, also a fullstop) made bash complain about an unexpected word.

The messages also comes when evolution is finished by the exit command.

So what do I have to do next? I know next to nothing about D-bus …
