[Evolution-users] Mails :: Automatic expunge of local Trash folder

OS Version: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS

I'm sorry, but I couldn't find how to implement an automatic clean up
of the local trash folder. 

Cleaning the trash folder of other mail account types than "maildir" is
no problem. 
For these trash folders I can define within "Properties" -> "Archive" a
auto-cleanup period an the "Delete messages" action.
But this function does not work with the local trash folder. Maybe the
reason is that the trash is a virtual folder. I only can get rid of the
deleted messages by selecting that folder and doing the Expunge-
function (ctrl-E) manually.

How is it possible to automatically clean the local trash folder from
deleted messages?
