[Evolution-users] Preferences/Certificates

Thanks. I have studied and tried to understand the concept of
certificates and keys before getting back to this mailing list. The
problem is "brief".

In Edit->Preferences->Certificates there is no help or explanation
regarding what the four tabs mean and how to populate them.
I sort of figured out that
* Contact Certificates tab has S/Mime related certificates, and
* Authorities tab contains entries from /etc/ssl/certs/ directory (the
trust store).
However the
* Your Certificates tab is empty on my machine (Gentoo linux). There is
an Import button, but what to import?
* Mail tab is empty (as for the Your Certificate tab). There is an
Update button, but nothing happens.
