	Hi,
I recall some problem had been reported some time ago, sadly I do not
recall (m)any detail(s). Either it was something with multiple
monitors, the popup showing on another monitor/place than expected, or
an updated WebKitGTK caused a trouble (I know of 2.49.2 introducing
some problems, due to a way Evolution uses JavaScript objects - they
fixed something, which uncovered the problem). If it used to work until
some update, then check what had been updated and try to downgrade, to
pinpoint the problem.

You can do that in the Edit->Preferences->Mail Preferences->HTML
Messages tab->Loading Remote Content section, but it's not that
convenient as when you've offered the options in the dropdown.

Try to run Evolution from a terminal and watch its output when you
click the button. Maybe it prints something there.

	Bye,
	Milan
