[Evolution-users] Appointment changes to meeting when saved

Thanks for the reply.

The email provider I mentioned, Zoho, also has calendar as part of
their package.

I can provide a video of what I'm describing if there is a way to share
it.  Does this list allow attachments?

I explicitly create an appointment.  When I click save the UI window
changes to a meeting.  Any subsequent editing of that "appointment"
requires me to enter an attendee since it has become a meeting.

Someone I "spoke" with previously indicated that this is caused by
something on the provider's side.  The provider says it's not on their
end.

If I create an appointment in the local calendar this does not happen.

I would really like to understand the mechanism that causes this so I
can work with my provider (if necessary) to resolve it.

I totally understand that creating a new calendar item via toolbar icon
or ctrl-n will create whatever was created last.  This is not what is
happening here.

Is there a way to share the video?

TIA
Steve
