Thanks for the reply.
I suspect that somebody has decided that anything other than Outlook or
the web interface should not be enabled through some knee jerk reaction
to an "incident". The place has gone downhill since I left :-) And it's
the reason I ran my own personal mail server hidden in the corner of my
machine room.
As I said I've asked about it and I'll see what they come up with.
