	Hi,
that's a question for your distribution package maintainers.
Considering you have old Ubuntu with old Evolution, and knowing from
the past, do not expect that old Ubuntu to receive the latest Evolution
as a system package. Newer (like current, though not Long Term Support)
Ubuntu will contain it for sure.

Building from sources is not a toy, not with all its dependencies and
with the implications for the whole system (one reason why LTS distros
do not update Evolution, and other apps, that often; you want
stability, then you get stability).
