Yesss! That was the problem.

encrypted messages", which is checked by default, Maybe Janos
somehow/accidentally unchecked it.

I checked it, restarted Evolution, sent an encrypted tst message the
same way as before, and now I can read the message in the Recipient
machine and in the sender machine, Sent folder.
