	Hi,
I tried it and the selected rows in the Task view are slightly lighter
than the other rows, but I agree it can be hardly visible in some
cases. The Calendar view (like the Month view) does not highlight the
selected events at all.

Whether it's a bug or a feature request I do not know. Some of the
offered actions tell you which event/task they operate on, notably the
Delete action. The deletion confirmation can be disabled in the
Preferences though.

You can search the existing issues whether it's already there and if
not then fill a new one, if you wish. The issues are at:
