[Evolution-users] Evolution 5.56.1-1 frozen on my laptop

I mistakenly rsync'd all of .local instead of only one file from my
desktop to my laptop.

All my Evolution accounts stopped working so I deleted them and created
fresh ones.

Evolution asks for a password on every attempt to refresh an account.

It shows the table-of-contents for my accounts but doesn't receive new
messages.

What should I do to get the mailer working fully (I don't use other
features)?
