As it says in the Description: "For retrieving (moving) local mail from
standard mbox-formatted spools into folders managed by Evolution." In
other words it will move the mail from /var/spool/mail/vsnyder into the
(Maildir formated) Inbox under "On This Computer". There is no
separate folder in the left sidebar for this type of account.
If you wish the account and mail to be in a separate hierarchy on the
sidebar, then you need an account of type "Standard Unix mbox spool
file".
If you have a directory of MBOX files you wish to access, then use
"Standard Unix mbox spool directory".
