I tried to re-create an account on my laptop because it was completely
stuck — wouldn't open my accounts.

Sbcglobal originally got service from yahoo, which is now AT&T. So my
servers are now imap.mail.yahoo com and smtp.att.yahoo.com.

Nothing I do works. OATH2 utterly fails, and the passwords that work on
my main computer also don't work.

I'd go for a different server but hundreds of people expect to contact
me on sbcglobal.net

Can I save the settings on my desktop and copy them to my laptop? Is a
complete backup the only way, or is there a way to copy only the
settings for two accounts?

The "Restore from backup" paragraph under Help says "if you do not have
a backup, go to the next page." Which page is the next page? The word
"backup" only appears once on the main page and only in the "Restore
from backup" paragraph on the "Starting Evolution" page.
