[Evolution-users] Evolution stuck

In previous messages in this thread, I described Evolution 3.56.1-1
getting stuck opening some (but not all) folders in my MH archive. "apt
reinstall evolution" doesn't install 3.56.2.

I had managed to damage Evolution on my laptop so I did a backup from
my desktop and re-created my evolution setup on my laptop from it. I
don't have the MH archive on my laptop but the account appeared on my
laptop — as I expected.

Evolution gets stuck opening at least some of the same folders on my
laptop as on my desktop, and is able to open at least some of the same
folders as on my desktop — I didn't try every folder. The "stuck" ones
leave a mark in the bottom panel. The ones that don't get stuck show
"Unable to open message" — because the messages aren't there — but
don't get stuck.

Every time I launch Evolution on my desktop it immediately gets stuck
trying to open the same MH folder, without being asked to open any
folders. Why does it believe I want that folder opened?

Getting stuck seems to be related to something in my setup.

Removing *.ibex.* and *.cmeta files in the stuck folders doesn't
unstick them.
