[Evolution-users] Unable to login to gmail on a fresh install

Even when you run Evolution with AOuth2 debugging enabled? Do you get
any output when you try and configure the GMail account?

There are instructions on this list somewhere (and probably elsewhere)
on how to run Evolution under a debugger - you will need various
debugging packages installed to make the output useful.  But I'm not
sure a segfault in a GStreamer library will affect the configuring of
an account (but I'm by no means that knowledgeable on the internal
workings of Evolution!).

Yes, it is top posting.  You don't need to "switch" anything - at the
bottom of the compose window click the three vertical dots and select
"Plain text mode", then click on the three horizontal dots to show the
included text, then you can edit and intersperse your replies at the
correct places.
