	Hi,
by any chance, it's a backslash, not a forward slash, is it? What is
the address book type, please? You mentioned Outlook, then maybe
Exchange Web Services, aka evolution-ews?

The thing is, the vCard standard sets some characters special and
requires escaping them. It does not apply to every attribute, if I
recall correctly. The question here is what created that vCard and why
it escaped it/them.
