that's odd. If I read the log properly then the IMAP code knows about
the folders from the beginning. I thought it does not know about them,
which would explain why it emitted that "folder deleted" signal.

Would you be willing to give a try to a debug build of the evolution-
data-server, where I'd add some targeted debug prints? I can create
debug builds for your Fedora 43 easily.

Also, maybe to not bother the list readers, it would be good to open a
bug for it and continue there:
