Years ago, I used a replacement for sendmail (not sendemail). I don't
remember what it was called, but it was easy to use, and looking at the
link now, it was most likely msmtp.

Too funny, not only is sendemail installed on my computer, but I even
compiled the package myself. I can’t remember ever using sendemail, but
I definitely used a sendmail replacement at one point.

I strongly recommend using a sendmail replacement instead of this
apparently discontinued sendemail.
