[sent again for message thread coherence]
Quite some time ago I reported evolution "playing ping-pong" with non-
SPAM (HAM) messages. After I manually flagged them as HAM, they would
frequently move back and forward between my inbox and the SPAM folder.
After lots of thorough analysis, patiently carried out by valued fellow
@Milan, we found that evolution was not the problem.
In fact, my mobile phone was. Some months ago I switched to "FairEmail"
Pro, which as well incorporates SPAM handling. Switching the phone off
immediately solved the problem - restarting it reliably brought it
back. When I then flagged HAM in the SPAM folder as HAM manually,
behaviour went stable. Actually, with some messages, this required
several attempts.
So - whenever somebody may experience strange behaviour in SPAM
handling - try to switch off your mobile phone, this may help
eventually.
Thanks for all thoughts and help,
Wolf
