Yes, this is operating correctly.

As all seems fine, and that flatpak stuff is more likely to have messed
the system and not evo (apt version), it looks to me as some system
related error...
Can I do any reinstall of GNOME components handling this task?
Great you're taking care so patiently, I really love these "send
attachment" feature.
