re-install rarely helps, you still have the config files saved
somewhere.

Is the Libreoffice in Flatpak, or also a packaged (apt) version? Though
the Nautilus is surely apt. I ask, because getting files out of the
sandbox is not that simple, not talking `/tmp/` in the sandbox is not
the same `/tmp/` as on the host machine (that tricked me many times).

The way to go is to figure out how they send the files. If evo's window
is brought to the foreground, then they do pass it somehow, but they
maybe miss some arguments. The question is how the arguments are passed
from the other apps.

There are some settings for default applications, one for calendar, one
for web, one for mail and so on, could the Flatpak uninstall change
that?
