[Evolution-users] Unable to open ICS files in Evolution 3.52.3 under Ubuntu Studio 24.04.1 LTS

Thanks for the quick response!
I can import the ICS files in question from an opened instance of
Evolution using the import assistant.  However, when I  try to import
one from the command line, I get a bunch of errors:

These errors seem to be a result of two issues:

1. Ubuntu Studio uses KDE instead of Gnome. It seems to run most Gnome
applications (including Evolution) thanks to the large number of
installed Gnome & GTK packages, but evidently something is missing.

2. I am trying to use a custom locale, but this is a known problem in
KDE:

which I haven't been able to resolve.

I will just use the import wizard for the time being, and hope that the
next LTS release of Ubuntu Studio makes this a bit easier!
