by "delete it from the folder", do you mean you have the window with
the email in the background and you delete the same message from a
different window?

I do not think the message window is able to distinguish between the
user deletion and a move by filter or moved/deleted by other client on
the server, then a folder refresh notices the message is gone.

The option I mentioned is only for the message window, reacting to
changes made in that window, not elsewhere. Making it "if message
disappears for whatever reason then close the window" is an interesting
idea.
