[Evolution-users] WebKitWeb Process crashed

I had a power glitch. After I rebooted, without changing anything, Evolution 3.56.2-1+deb13u1 on Debian Trixie 13.2 suddenly doesn't display messages, reporting 

Something has gone wrong when displaying the message



A WebKitWebProcess crashed when displaying the message. You can try again by moving to another message and back. If the issue persists, please file a bug report in GNOME GitLab.

It also won't open a "New" window to compose a message.
"apt update" says everything is up to date. I did "apt reinstall webkitgtk\*" and "apt reinstall evolution" but it still doesn't work.
There's a page on discourse.gnome.org that says "this is a WebKitGTK thing" but doesn't offer any advice how to recover.
What should I do?
