	Hi,
I do not know why it's doing what you described, but I do not see it
here. I suppose it's an IMAP account. When you open its Properties, the
Defaults tab shows whether you've enabled real Junk and Trash folders.
If they are, the junk and deleted messages are moved to these folders.
You can disable it, then there will be created virtual folders showing
these (deleted/junk) messages from so far opened folders, keeping them
in their original folder. Then they'd disappear only if View->Show
Deleted/Junk messages options are not checked.

I does not make sense to have changed the selected message. Evolution
tries hard to preserver the selected message when the content of the
folder changes. I've been reading your mail in an IMAP folder while
another message had been received to this folder (I noted the content
regenerated and the message list flashed quickly) and I had left
selected your message, just as expected.

I recall some oddities with Yahoo! IMAP servers, but I've not been able
to reliably reproduce it myself.

	Bye,
	Milan
